Cinderella

Last night I went to the Civic Theatre for Cinderella and it was so amazing! I have been thinking about auditioning for the next play ( Little House on The Prairie ). And this year we are reading the whole collection of Laura Ingalls Wilder. So far I really love it. And then my mom saw it on the Stage Bill, and I thought I would love to be apart of the play!

Back to School

Ok, so I am going back to school. And I do not know if I really want to. My dad wants me to go so I can meet friends, and my mom because my little sister and my new puppy are a distraction!!! ( which should not be surprising).

One part of me wants to go and the other part not so much. But, I know that God has a plan and I am sure that it won't be so bad. The middle school I would go to would either be Lane or Blackhawk. I am fine with either but I have heard some bad things about Lane. I have not heard anything bad about Blackhawk.

I do think that Lane would be a good choice because when I was in school all my friends told me they were going to Lane. But their parents might have changed their minds and they might go to Blackhawk.

Hopefully it will all work out so everyone is happy.

Maple Surgar

Q: Where was Maple Sugar made?

A: In the big woods.

Q: How do you make Maple Sugar?

A: First you harvest the maple syrup,then you boil it and skim it. When it is finished you pour it into buckets and it hardens.

Q: What are some uses for Maple Sugar?

A: 1. Candy, 2. Syrup for pancakes and waffles, 3. You can use it for cakes, 4, For making carmel. 5, For medicine.

Q: How is Maple Sugar made today?

A: You collect the syrup, then you put it all in the storage tank. After that you bring it to the sugar house. Then the sugar is evaporated, after all that you get the final product in this case fresh syrup.

Planning

Ok I know that my birthday is in November but this is going to be the year I turn 12. The theme will be a salon party, I will invite some friends and we will get our hair done and paint our nails. It will be so much fun. I think I will talk to my mom to see how many friends she has that are good at doing hair and nails. I know that Erin would be good to have at my party, and Liz. Oh I just remembered my mom is good at hair, lol. Anyway last year my party was themed Hawaiian, now that was so fun. My cake was huge and had the most wonderful colors. I wish that my birthday lasted all year long. My sister just turned 10 on sunday we are thinking about a party but do not have any good dates, I wish I could throw a party for her, like a surprise party. But parties can be very expensive. Well I just hope we can have a party for her. That is just going to have to work it's self out.

My Favorite Day of The Week

This is my school assignment, we are working on the book  (Little Cabin in The Big Woods ). So far it is going really well.  I am supposed to write about my favorite day. My favorite day is friday, because it is the day that starts the weekend. Also my dad is off  work, so I get to be with him the whole day.  And that is why I love Fridays!!!!

I am back from the lake

Yesterday I got home from the lake.Me and my sister stayed longer then we thought.But anyway from the beginning,the first day we got there.It was really cold, so we stayed inside and played rummy it was really fun, sophia was beating my butt. Do not weary I won a lot of games too. So we stayed up until like 10:30, then we went to bed. The next day we got up ate breakfast and got dressed warm, and helped my grandpa pick up sticks at the beach. It was so cold that my fingers felt like they were going to fall off. We got most of the sticks then it started to HAIL!!!!!! My grandpa was calling someone so I went inside to warm up. My sock were wet and my hands were numb it took a half hour to warm up. After I warmed up i ate lunch and i played cards with my grandma and sister. I beat both of them. When we were finished my cousin came down to the cabin and said that she got to her cabin at 11 that night. The next night my brother stayed at my cousin's. The next morning we got up and went to the park with my cousin and brother. We were very busy and it was warmer then the day before so we stayed at the park for about two hours. Then we had to go back to the cabin, to get cleaned up. because we are going to the nursing home for church ( just so you know my grandpa is the pastor ). We did not have to leave for another hour. So me  my sister and my cousin all made cards for the older people. Then it was time to go we were so excited to hand out our cards. When we got there we went down stairs where they were having the service. There were about ten people there and my grandma told us that we could pass out the cards it was fun we got a lot of compliments. The older people were very happy that we made them cards. Then the service started off by having worship we all tried to keep up it was kind of hard. Anyway when the service was over we had a lot of cards left to hand out so my grandma  took us all around the whole nursing home until we had passed out all of the cards then we left the nursing home it was so nice out side that we got to go to the play ground not the one at the lake it was a different park. We played for a short amount of time. But it was so hot that my grandma bought us ice cream from dairy queen. When we got back to the lake my brother had to go home but my grandma worked something out with my mom. So we got to stay another night. I was so happy we got to stay. We mostly played at the park and played cards. I had a great time I wish I could stay longer but my grandma had to leave that night so we just went home. I am just so great full I got to be there.

AN AWESOME CONCERT

Last weekend me and my sister sophia went to a concert we saw Love and the Outcome,Kyle Sherman,The Afters  (witch were my favorite),and Francesca Battistelli. They were all great but i loved The Afters they were very loud and the lead singer Josh was walking through they crowd and threw his drumsticks in the air. It was insane that is why i liked it. I will definitely go to another concert.I got my ticket signed by The Afters and Francesca. I got my wrist signed by Jode the lead singer for Love and The Outcome. It is starting to come off. Anyway, they had some tables lined up in the waiting room.You could sign up for a contest and win a  guitar or a Kindle Fire. I really hope i win.Even if i don't it is okay because i had a wonderful time.  After the concert we got to stay the night at my cousins grandma's house because we got home so late (meaning 10:30). we all slept good that night.
